He was CEO and Chairman of Coriant International Group (“Coriant”), a global packet-optical networking company. He is the former CEO of Juniper Networks, a routing and packet switching networking company. Prior to joining Juniper in 2014, Shaygan spent 3 years as the Group Chief Operating & Technology Officer at Barclays Bank PLC in the United Kingdom. Shaygan also spent in excess of 10 years at Verizon Communications until 2011 where he held the position of EVP & Chief Information & Technology Officer.
