Skills, expertise and experience:

Mazen Mroue is the MTN Group Chief Technology and Information Officer (GCTIO). Prior to this appointment he held the position of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MTN Nigeria.

Since joining MTN in 1998, Mazen has held various senior positions within the Group’s regional operations in Africa and Middle East including roles as CEO, COO and CIO of various operating companies.

Mazen holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, Intellectual Systems and Networks. He is also certified in Leadership Development and Executive Finance from Harvard Business School and INSEAD respectively.
